voluntary departure and bond returnsIf you have been arrested in the United States for an immigration violation and have chosen to take voluntary departure, you may come to the Embassy any Friday that we are open at 11:00 am. Please check Opening Hours and Holidays to be sure that the Embassy will be open the day you plan to come. The consular section is closed the last Friday of each month. Please note that any bond paid when you were arrested will not be returned at the Embassy. A consular officer will briefly interview you about the circumstances of your departure from the United States and return the original forms to the Department of Homeland Security in the United States. You will receive a copy of these signed forms for your record. You must appear at the Embassy in person to prove your return to Israel. |
