Bringing Plants and Plant Products into Israel The Israel Plant Protection Inspection Service (PPIS) strictly controls the entry of plants and plant materials into Israel. An import permit must be obtained from the PPIS prior to the entry of plants and plant materials for commercial or personnel purposes.
